<p style="text-align: justify;">उर्स, महान सूफी संत निजामुद्दीन औलिया के खलीफा हजरत वजीहुद्दीन यूसुफ की महिमा की स्मृति दिलाता है। अलाउद्दीन खिलजी के शासनकाल में, हज़रत वजीहुद्दीन को हजरत निजामुद्दीन द्वारा आदेश दिया गया था कि वो जाएँ और चंदेरी में बसें और वहाँ लोगों के लिए काम करें। वह सन् 1305 ई. में चंदेरी पहुँचे, अपना खानकाह स्थापित किया और जल्द ही हजारों उनके भक्त बन गये।<br />
