This monument, built in 1642 commemorates the Bundela Maharaja Bharat Shah and marks the spot where he was cremated. Built near the Parmeshwar Pond, the structure is octagonal in plan with sandstone walls crowned by a dome. Essentially of just one storey, the eaves on the outside are designed to make it appear double storeyed. Each alternate face of the second storey is relieved by a projecting balcony.
सन् 1642 ई. बना यह स्मारक बुंदेला महाराजा भरत शाह की स्मृति में बनाया गया है और उसी स्थान पर है जहाँ उनका अंतिम संस्कार किया गया था। परमेश्वर तालाब के निकट निर्मित यह संरचना योजना में अष्टकोणीय है जिसमें बलुआ पत्थर की दीवारों के साथ एक गुंबदनुमा ताज है। मूलतः सिर्फ एक मंजिला यह संरचना बाहर की ढ़लाननुमा डिज़ाइन की वजह से दो मंजिला दिखाई देता है। दूसरी मंजिल का प्रत्येक दूसरा रूप एक बालकनी की रूप में प्रतीत होती है।
